Are You Crazy Cracker Dip?

This crazy recipe doesn’t sound good and is easy to make. Be ready for a pleasant surprise.

Ingredients

  • 4 medium onions (any kind but sweet works best)
  • 2 C. boiling water
  • 1 C. sugar
  • half C. of white table vinegar
  • half C. mayo
  • 1 tsp. celery salt
  • 1 tsp. cracked black pepper
  • Package of your favorite crackers

Method

  1. In a large bowl, combine vinegar, boiling water, and sugar and pour over peeled and thinly sliced onions.
  2. Cover mixture and place in fridge to chill overnight.
  3. Next morning, drain mixture well.
  4. Mix mayo and celery salt.
  5. Add onions to the mayo mixture.
  6. Cover bowl and chill in fridge for 3 – 4 hours and serve with your favorite crackers.
