How to Make Bread Rolls

This is a very great recipe for school going children and also as a snack at teatime.

Ingredients

 

Bread – 1 loaf

 

For masala

Boil potatoes – 4 medium sized

Cooked peas – 100 gm

Cooked vegetable finely chopped – 200 gms

(carrots, beans, cauliflowers)

Onion -2 medium size chopped finely

Chopped capsicum – 1 medium size

Ginger green chilli paste – 1 ½ tsp

Salt as per taste

Lemon – 1

Chopped coriander leaves – 1 tbl.sp

Turmeric powder – ¼  tsp

Garam masala powder – ½ tsp

Red chilli powder – 1 tsp

Oil for frying

 

Heat oil in a deep frying pan and fry ginger chilli paste, onions, capsicum till crisp, then add other cooked vegetables, mashed potatoes and keep on stirring it till all moisture is absorbed.

Add turmeric, salt, garam masala and chilli powder, squeeze lemon and garnish with coriander leaves.

Take a slice of bread, dip in water, squeeze it to remove excess water, put the filling inside, close it  and refrigerate it for two hours and then deep fry it till it turns brown and crispy. Serve hot with tomato ketchup.
