Recipe for Fast, Easy and Flavorful Hummus

With this recipe, you can prepare a flavorful, tangy hummus in less than 10 minutes and without having to search for exotic or expensive ingredients. It’s also very healthy too!

Want to impress your friends?  Hummus is a dish you ordinarily find in Middle Eastern restaurants or the specialty section of select markets.  However, with this recipe, you can prepare a flavorful, tangy hummus in less than 10 minutes and without having to search for exotic or expensive ingredients.  It’s also very heathy too!

Ingredients

  • 1 Can Garbanzo Beans (also known as Chick Peas)
  • 1 Lemon squeezed
  • 1 Clove Garlic
  • 1/4 Cup Olive Oil
  • 1 rounded Tbsp. Ground Cumin
  • Salt to taste

Method

Drain the can of garbanzo beans and pour into a blender or food processor.  Add the garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, cumin and a little salt.  You can add more salt later, if you desire.  Now, just turn the machine on and whip the ingredients into a smooth paste.   You’re done!

Serve it with pita chips, pita bread or middle eastern flat bread.  This dish is so deliciously convenient to make that you’ll find yourself preparing it for a wide variety of occasions or simply for snacks at home!
