Ingredients:
1 1/2 pounds of lean ground beef
2 onions, finely diced up
1 (10 oz.) can of diced tomatoes and green chilies
1 (8 oz.) can of tomato sauce
2 (16 oz.) packages of shredded Mexican Velveeta cheese
How to Cook
I cook my beef and onions in a large skillet until the onions are translucent. I drain and transfer everything to my slow cooker. I add the tomatoes and green chilies, tomato sauce and cheese. Stir this up until it’s all blended in well.
I cover the slow cooker and cook on Low for 2 hours. I stir this up ever 30 minutes or so. I use corn chips for dipping. Crackers or something else can be used if needed.
This dip will become a family favorite I believe. It works here at our home, and is made many times during the year.
