Fried Rice Balls

Use your leftover rice to prepare a scrumptious snack. Loved by kids.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup boiled rice(you can use any leftover rice too)
  • 1 green or red pepper(chopped in small cubes)
  • 1 spring onion(chopped)
  • 1 carrot(diced)
  • salt to taste
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp vinegar
  • 1/4 tsp light soy sauce
  • 2 tsp cornflour
  • oil for deep frying


Method

  1. Add cornflour to your boiled rice and mix well using your hands. Mash the rice a little during this process.
  2. Mix all the vegetables in the rice and season with salt black pepper,vinegar and soy sauce.
  3. Make small balls out of this mixture onto your palms and deep fry them in hot oil.
  4. Serve hot with ketchup or sweet chili sauce.
