Jack Daniel’s Lynchberg Lemonade is a cocktail made with Jack Daniel’s, sweet and sour mix, triple sex, and lemon lime soda.  The cocktail is named after Lynchberg, Tennessee  the town in which the Jack Daniel’s distillery is located.  It was created and given its name by Alabama restaurant and lounge owner Tony Mason in 1980.  The drink was also the subject of the 1987 court case Mason v. Jack Daniel Distillery.  If you are interested in trying to make your own Jack Daniel’s Lynchberg Lemonade at home, you can check out the recipe below for the cocktail.

In order to make a Jack Daniel’s Lynchberg Lemonade, you will need the following ingredients at the following proportions:

  • 1 part Jack Daniel’s® Tennessee whiskey
  • 1 part sweet and sour mix
  • 1 part triple sec
  • 4 parts Sprite® soda or similar lemon-lime soda
  • Lemon slices and/or cherries (optional)

Combine the ingredients in a collins glass filled with ice and stir to mix.

Garnish with lemon slices and cherries if you desire. Serve and enjoy!
