Jack Daniels “Drunken” Chicken Wings
For those who prefer not to deep-fry, these wings turn out just as well cooked in the oven.
Ingredients
- 2 lbs Chicken wings, cut up, washed and dried
- Oil for deep frying
- 4 tbsp Butter
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tsp Soy sauce (optional)
- 1/4 – ½ cup Jack Daniels whiskey
- 3/4 cup Flour
- 2 tbsp Corn starch
- 1-2 tbsp Cayenne pepper
- 1 tbsp Garlic powder
- 1 tsp Paprika
- 1tsp Onion powder
- Salt and pepper
Method
- Mix dry ingredients together and pour over raw wings until they are completely covered with mixture
- Cover coated wings and refrigerate for 1-2 hours
- Heat butter in a pan until melted then stir in Hot sauce and Mustard and set aside
- Cook wings in hot oil, pat off excess oil and place in a large bowl (not plastic)
- Add Jack Daniels to Hot sauce mixture and pour over cooked wings and stir them up, making sure they are all coated evenly.
Serve with Blue Cheese dip and raw vegetable sticks.

The ingredients should include 1/4 cup hot sauce. Any brand will do (Franks is good) Thanks for bringing this to my attention.
