Pickle Thing Appetizer

By far the oddest appetizer creation I have ever served. When the party begins the Pickle Things are circled at least three times before anyone dives in. Once the weird little finger food is placed in the mouth, game on.

Ingredients

  • 1 Jar Dill Pickles
  • 1 8 oz. bar cream cheese (room temperature)
  • 1 Jar Dried Beef

Method

  1. Drain pickles.
  2. Spread cream cheese onto dried beef.
  3. Wrap cream cheese, covered dried beef around pickles.
  4. Slice and serve.

 The color combo is unusual which could be why this little dish gets odd looks.   Enjoy.

    I make these by spreading deli roast beef with cream cheese, adding a pickle spear, rolling up and slicing into bite sized pieces. They Rock!

    Kim- love ya, but this just sounds too odd. I would be one of the one walking around it…avoiding it. I am going to let my husband be a lab rat for this one :)
