Potato Chaat

A simple, quick snack.

Ingredients:

 

  • Medium sized potatoes                         6, hard boiled, cut them into halves
  • Coriander powder                                            1 Tsp.
  • Salt                                                                  1 Tsp.
  • Cumin powder                                                  1 Tsp, (Jeera)
  • Chaat masala                                                    1 Tsp.
  • Carom seeds                                                    1 Tsp, (Ajwain)
  • Wheat flour                                                      11/2 Dsp, (Gehun Ka Aatta)
  • Chili powder                                                     to taste
  • Black pepper                                                    ¼ Tsp.
  • Garlic juice                                                       1 Dsp. 
  • Dry color                                                          a pinch                                    

 

Method:

 

  1. Mix all the dry seasonings. Sprinkle this over the potatoes and mix it.
  2. Take 1 dsp garlic juice, and add 2 pinches of dry color. Then sprinkle this over the potatoes.
  3. Heat ½ cup oil in a non stick pan, put potatoes, and cook till golden brown.
  4. Sprinkle little chaat masala, coriander leaves.

 

TIP: Decorate with onion rings on the sides and serve with Pudina chutney and sauce.
