Rose Petal Jam recipe. Delicious with some cheese and crackers.

Rose Petal Jam recipe

4 cups wild rose water

1 package of fruit pectin

2 tbsp lemon juice

5 1/2 cups sugar

First of all you will need to gather about 6 cups of wild rose petals (or other rose petals) and add to about 4 cups of water. Boil and then strain into a cheesecloth and toss away the petals. This can be stored for up to three days before use in the jam recipe.

Instructions for the scrumptious jam:

Prepare jars & lids for the canning process. Then what you will need to do is to whisk the rose water, pectin and the lemon juice until blended. Bring to a boil, then add the sugar and boil hard for approximately one minute.
