If you live out on the West coast of California then you may have heard of the Boll Weevil chain of restaurants. They currently have five locations in and around the San Diego area. They all serve great tasting burgers many with a different twist. The burgers are very popular and orders just fly out of the kitchen each night. If you haven’t visited then you really should make a point of doing so soon.

Each of the five locations prides themselves on not offering the same burger choices. This way you can visit each one and find something new and exciting on their menu. They do all use the Boll Weevil Steerburger as the basis for a large number of their burger creations.

This steerburger gets turned into some wonderful sounding burgers like the A One Der Ful Burger and the Bar-B-Que burger. Of course the steerburger does still get served by itself or as a cheese burger. The choice is up to you and you do have lots of choices at all of the restaurants.

The Big Daddy Steerburger is for those who are really hungry! It is made up of two half a pound steerburger patties. These patties are then covered with lots of cheese, lettuce and tomatoes and served on a toasted sesame seed bun. You may be surprised to discover that all this meat and cheese will cost you less than $10. Definitely worth checking out!

As an example of a different kind of burger you can order a Patty Melt. This burger is actually served on tasty rye bread for a nice change. It is available as a half a pound burger or a smaller quarter pound burger. The Patty Melt comes served with grilled onions and Swiss cheese.

If you prefer a burger with tons of toppings inside then order the Guacamole Burger. This is another burger which is available in two sizes, half a pound and a quarter of a pound. The Guacamole Burger comes topped with Jack cheese, guacamole, salsa, lettuce and tomato.

Another variation is the 4 Slider menu item. These mini burgers are served on a Hawaiian bun with cheese, grilled onions and accompanied with a pickle. The sliders are a perfect dish for sharing with friends at lunch time for a quick snack.
