Easy Chicken Pasta Skillet
A quick and simple one-pot dinner. A great for week-night recipe that your whole family will love!
This simple and tasty chicken pasta skillet recipe is great for the weeknights when you don’t feel like standing for hours in a hot kitchen.
Recipe serves 4
- 1 lb diced chicken
- 1 green pepper (sliced)
- 1 onion (sliced)
- 1.5 cups of water
- 2 cups of pasta (any kind)
- 1 can of tinned tomatoes
- Salt & pepper to taste
- 1 cup of cheese (grated)
- 1 tbsp cooking oil
In a large deep skillet pan, add the cooking oil and cook the chicken on medium/high for 5 minutes.
Add the pepper and onion and cook for an additional 5 minutes. The chicken should be cooked through and the vegetables tender.
Add all of the water to the pan. Bring the water to a boil and stir in the pasta. Make sure that the water covers the pasta. Simmer for 15 minutes.
Stir in the can of tomatoes and add salt and pepper to taste. Sprinkle the cheese on top.
Cover the pan and reduce the heat to low. Cook for 5 minutes.
The cheese should be melted and everything cooked through.
Serve with garlic bread. Bon appetite!
