Home-made Beefburgers

Tasty!

What you need:
400g pack traditional beef mince
1 medium onion,peeled  and very finely chopped
1 egg, beaten
salt and freshly ground black pepper
1 carrot, peeled and grated
5ml spoon Dijon mustard
1/2 x 5ml spoon Tabasco sauce
2 slices bread made into breadcrumbs

15ml Worcestershire sauce
15ml fresh parsley,chopped(optional)
flour for dusting

What to do

1 Preheat the grill to a medium heat,or heat up the barbecue.

2.Place all the ingredients except the flour in a bowl.
Mix together and shape into 6 equal-sized patties

3.Place a little flour on a plate or tray.Dust the patties with the flour on all side.Cover and chill for at least 30 minutes. Dust the patties with the flour on all side. Cover and chill for at least 30 minutes. Dust with more flour before cooking, if necesarry. Cook under the grill or on the barbecue for about 12 minutes, turning occasionally, until thoroughly cooked.

4. Delicious served in buns with lettuce,sliced red onion, sliced tomatoes and a few chips (french fries) on the side
