Tostados an Easy Recipe
This is an easy recipe for weekends when the kids have company and you don’t want to spend the day in the kitchen. You know kids like the food they cook and will have fun doing the preparations. You might want to supervise just a little. If you have a picnic table in the back yard, all the better. Set out paper plates and join the feast. Let them make s’mores or roast marshmallows for dessert and have fun.
Tostados
This recipe is good. Dad and the kids will like it so make plenty. They will come back for seconds, thirds and fourths, It’s so easy, let them invite their friends over for a backyard party. you can triple the recipe or make a whole pot full, You won’t have leftovers.

Tostados
Ingredients
8 corn tortillas
nonsticking cooking spray
1can black beans rinsed
1 1/2 tsp.cumin
2 tsp.oil
1 firm ripe avocado
2 Tbsp. lime juice
1/4 cup chopped cilantro
1/2 cup smooth chipotle salsa
3 to 4 cups chopped lettuce
You can add cooked shredded chicken or turkey unless you’re vegetarian.
Method
Heat oven to 450. coat corn tortillas with spray. Place directly on oven rack.
Bake 8 minutes till crisp.
Cut avocado into chunks. Toss with lime juice, beans, cilantro, salsa and 1/2 tsp.cumin.
Add chicken or turkey if using. Mix ingredients and serve on tortillas.
