Caramel Popcorn

This is a guide of how to prepare the world’s easiest and best sweet snack.

Ingredients

  • Common Salt(NaCl)
  • Butter(salted as well as non- salted)
  • Dried Pop- Corn seeds, Jaggery or Sugar.

Cooking Appliances

  • Saucer only of Glass or Bone- China
  • Grater
  • Glass Bowl
  • Microwave Oven

Method

Serves 4.

  1. Take a Glass Bowl and put 1.5 to 2 tablespoon of Butter in it
  2. Add to it a handful of Dried Pop- Corn seed and a teaspoon of Salt.
  3. Mix the mixture well and cover it with it with a glass plate and put for 4 to 4.5 minutes in a microwave oven. Note: The Pop- Corn expands up to 10 times it’s original size on heating so take a big bowl.
  4. Grate half a cup of sugar or Jagerry.
  5. After the Pop- Corn seeds pop then sprinkle the Grated jaggery or sugar over it and put it to microwave oven for 40 to 60 seconds.
  6. After the process is over mix the Pop- Corn together and serve hot in a plate.
