Coconut Burfi

Make the traditional Indian dish of Coconut Burfi and celebrate.

Preparation: 5 minutes
Cooking: 2 minutes
Serves: 8
Calories/Serving: 75

Ingredients

  • 1½ coconut powder (desiccated coconut)
  • ½ tin of condensed milk(milkmaid)
  • a few drops pink color, optional
  • a silver sheet, optional

Method

  1. In a flat dish spread coconut powder and microwave it for 2 minutes.  If you are using stove then just fry it for 1 -2 minutes.
  2. Add condensed milk and color. Mix well.
  3. Spread in the dish to get ¾ inches thick layer.
  4. Refrigerate it for some time and allow it to cool.
  5. Decorate it with silver sheet and cut it into square pieces.
  6. Store it in the fridge and serve it when required.
