Embutido

It is a meatloaf style of food.

This meat loaf is nutritious food good for breakfast, snack, lunch or dinner.

Ingredients:

  • 1 Kl. pork lean ground
  • 3 pcs. vienna sausage chopped
  • 3 pcs. egg fresh
  • 3 tbsp. raisins
  • 3 tbsp. carrots chopped dice
  • 8 cloves of garlic chopped thinly
  • 3 tbsp. butter
  • 1 1/4 tsp. black pepper ground
  • 2 tbsp. salt coarse
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 6 tbsp. sugar refined

For Filling:

  • Slices of boiled eggs
  • slices of hotdogs
  • slices of mozarella and cheddar cheese sticks
  • raisins
  • aluminum foil

Method:

1. Prepare a steamer with a wire rack, filled with boiled water.

2. Combine all ingredients in a bowl, except the filling.

3. Divide the slices boiled eggs, hotdogs, mozarella and cheese sticks and raisins.

4. Use a 1/4 measuring cup for every mixture unto the center of the aluminum foil which is cut 8″x12″. Place slics of boiled eggs, hotdogs, cheese sticks and raisins as center filling of each mixture.

5. Roll with the aluminum foil until the mixture cover the filling and tightly packed.

6.Repeat the remainng mixture till finished.

7. Prick with needle the roll mixture to fill in corners and out air.

8. Place the embutido in a steamer and steam for an hour.

Serve with catsup.

You could fry the embutido or heat up in a microwave for another taste you like from a steamer. You could refrigerate the remaining embutido too for another day to serve for your family.
