- 1 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. shortening

- 1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
- 1/4 c. milk
Method
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly spray a cookie sheet with butter flavored Pam.
- Sift together the first 5 ingredients and set aside. Cream the shortening, honey and vanilla together. Add the flour and milk alternately to the creamed mixture. Chill in refrigerator until firm.
- Roll out the dough to 1/8 inch thickness and cut into squares. Carefully prick each square with a fork. Place on greased cookie sheet and bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until crisp.
Note: For regular graham crackers, substitute 3/4 c. brown sugar for the honey.
