Quick and Easy Diabetic Appetizers: Chili Piquin Nuts

This is directed to diabetics who want to eat well without sacrificing taste. These recipes are good, take no time at all to prepare, and are healthy for diabetics.
I’m sure that if your a diabetic then you have problems eating food, always worrying about how much sugar is in something or what will what your eating do to your health. Well, this recipe guide is so you don’t have to worry about what you eat, still be healthy, and actually enjoy what your eating. well, here we go;
Ingredients
- 1 pinch ground allspice
- 1 pinch cinnamon
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 pinch pepper
- 1/2 cup SPLENDA® No Calorie Sweetener, Granulated
- 1 teaspoon chili piquin or ground cayenne
- 1/2 cup mixed nuts
- 1 egg white
Method
- Pre-heat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Mix all the dry spices and SPLENDA® Granulated Sweetener in a bowl.
- Whip the egg white in a separate mixer bowl on medium high until soft peaked, then stir in the mixed nuts and other dry ingredients.
- Spread the nuts over a baking sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.
- Remove from oven cool and serve.
