Soy Cutlet

Soy beans contain high amounts of protein, including all essential amino acids. Soy beans are also a rich source of calcium, iron, zinc, phosphorus, magnesium, B-vitamins, omega three fatty acids and fiber.
INGREDIENTS
- Soy Granules – 100 gms
- Potatoes – 2 Nos. (mediumsm sized)
- Bread Crumbs – 100 gms
- Coriander Seeds – 1 tsp
- Ginger-Garlic Paste – 1 tbsp
- Green Chillies – 4 Nos.
- Red Chilly Powder – 5 gms
- Coriander Powder – 10 gms
- Turmeric Powder – 5 gms
- Green Coriander Leaves – 1 bunch
- Salt – To Taste
- Oil – For deep frying
METHOD
- Soak soy granules in warm water for 15-20 minutes. Squeeze to remove excess water.
- Boil potatoes, peel and mash the.
- Heat oil in a pan, add coriander seeds. When it crackles, add ginger-garlic paste and stir for one minute.
- Add red chilly powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder while stirr continuously.
- Then add soy granules, cook till granules are cooked and dry.
- Add potatoes, put salt and continue cooking till all the ingredients completely dries up.
- Remove and cool it, now mix well with breadcrumbs.
- Divide into small equal portions and give them a cutlet shape.
- Deep fry in moderate hot oil until crisp.
- Serve hot with tamarind sauce and mint sauce.
