The Easiest Recipe in The World – Steam Egg

published by Starpisces on Feb 2, 2012

First time writing a recipe.
Sharing with you the most simple recipe in the world.
However, it may look simple, but actually not simple because you have to depend on your luck, some will see holes on the surface, though edible but not presentable right?

Sharing with you my easy recipe, i.e. steam egg.

Fast to cook, good to eat.

Some may say, hey, easy, hey, you may not get beautiful ones, many complain that there are holes found on the steam egg, but look at the pictures below, smooth and beautiful right?  LOL.

Here’s the steps, easy as ABC or 123.

:)

2 Eggs, beat into a rice bowl.

Add about 3 quarter table spoon of light soya sauce, few tiny drops of sesame oil (optional).

Add hot water, till the level of the egg mixture almost reaches full bowl.

Stir the egg mixtures evenly.

Cook your rice in rice cooker as usual.

When the rice almost cooked, but not yet cooked, put in the steam plate to the rice cooker, be careful of the heat.  The steaming plate I have it as it came together with the rice cooker, some can use the steaming rack.

Put in the egg mixture carefully.

Close the rice cooker lid (must I mention this?  Who knows, some may not know, LOL).

Rice cooked, the button automatically switched to “keep warm”.  You don’t even need to stand there and wait for it to be cooked.

You may keep it warm or off the rice cooker power immediately.

Ready to be served.  Of course you have other dishes to go with the rice, not only this steam egg, I know you won’t get contented with the steam egg alone, right? Hehehe.

Easy right?  Nice?  Please click “liked”, thank you.  LOL.

:)

Egg cooked by author and pictures taken by her also (the fake chef).

    Wahahahahahaha.
First time writing a so-called recipe and it is categorised as “science”, hmmm I think to Triond, it’s something scientific for the egg to become so smooth, lol….

should I relocate it? See how, lol.

I LOVE steamed egg. I make an easier recipe you should try: 3 eggs, 1 can of chicken broth. You’ll need a larger bowl. :-)

I’m what you might call cooking impaired, so it sounds a little complicated :) more so than the only cooking I do around here which is boiling me a hot cup of instant noodles.
