Banana Bun-melting Method

The melted method of cake making is one of the easiest ways of cake making and is used for making cakes, buns and ginger breads.

Ingredients

¾ cups  sugar

1 cup butter

1 1/4  cups milk

2 small eggs

1 large ripe banana

2 cups flour

2 tsp. baking powder

½ tsp baking soda

½ cinnamon

½ nutmeg

1 tsp vanilla

¼ cup chopped raisin

¼ cup cherries

Method

-Melt sugar and butter and add milk,

-Beat and add eggs

-Add crushed banana and mix

-Sieve flour, baking soda, baking powder and cinnamon and nutmeg

-Combine all the dry ingredients with the liquid ingredients.

 -Flour fruits and   gentle fold into mixture.

-Pour into a greased loaf tin and bake at 350 °F for 25-30 minutes or until a stick  or cake tester comes out clean

- Cool and serve.
