Banana Loaf

A very good recipe on how to make banana loaf.

I don’t know anybody who doesn’t enjoy eating banana bread. Either as a snack or being used in a formal dinner, it’s always delicious and enjoyed by everyone.

  • 1/2 cup of shortening
  • 1/2 tsp. of salt
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 2 cups of flour
  • 1 tsp. of baking soda
  • 3 crushed bananas
  • 1 tsp. of vanilla

  • Loaf pan
  • Mixing bowl
  • An oven

Before anything, make sure you have what you need. Gather up all of your ingredients and a decent sized bowl to mix them in, and something to mix with. Put the shortening, salt and sugar into the bowl and proceed to cream the shortening until it’s done.
Put the eggs in a separate bowl and beat them before adding them into the shortening. You can crush the bananas in the peal and squeeze them into the mix. It works best when they’re starting to go black-ish.
Add all of the other ingredients into the mix and stir them all together until it blends. Pour the mix into the loaf pan and put it in the oven on the middle rack for roughly 1 hour and 20 minutes. Be sure to keep an eye on it the last 10 minutes or so.
Once it’s done, take it out and let it cool for about 20 minutes or until you feel it’s ready to go.
