Breadmaker Potato Bread
published by suzette gum on May 7, 2009
This bread is so delicious. I was making my usual breadmaker bread and thought I would see what the results would be if I added some potato. The result was fantastic. Gave the bread more body and the crust browned to a beautiful golden brown.
-
Ingredients
- 3 cups multigrain flour
- 2 teaspoons yeast
- 1 1/4 cups milk – or milk and water works well
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1/2 cup warm mashed potato – no need to add milk or butter, just cook in the microwave until soft
-
Method
- Place all ingredients in your breadmaker and set to french setting.
- Once bread has finished remove pan from breadmaker and allow to cool for 10 minutes. Remove bread from pan and allow to cool on a cake rack.
Enjoy!!
