Butterscotch Blondies
These are decadent Blondies that satisfy a butterscotch lovers sweet tooth.

Ingredients
- 3 cups cake flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 pound unsalted butter
- 3 cups packed light brown sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1 bag butterscotch chips
- 1 cup chopped pecans
Directions
Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Line a 9-by-13-inch with parchment paper, spray the paper with a vegetable cooking spray.
Mix flour, baking powder and salt in a small bowl. Heat butter and brown sugar in a large pan until boiling. Whisk eggs and vanilla in a bowl. Slowly whisk hot sugar mixture, then dry ingredients, into eggs. Mix in nuts, pour into pan. Cover top of mixture with butterscotch chips
Bake Blondie until they are set, about 40 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool for five minutes. Pull Blondie from the pan utilizing the parchment paper. Cool completely before cutting into squares.
