Cheese and Onion Loaf
How to pep up a boring loaf of bread.
This is my recipe for cheese and onion bread.
Buy a large round loaf and make slashes across the top. Make the cuts fairly deep but don’t go all the way through the bread.
Chop up some spring onions, or red onions, and melt some butter in the microwave for a minute.
Mix the onions and butter together and pour it over and into the loaf.
Stuff slices of cheese into the cuts.
Wrap in foil and bake in the oven at 200C gas mark 6. for 15 minutes.
Remove the foil and give it another ten minutes.
