Christmas Pudding

A delicious desert for a special occasion.

Ingredients

1/2 lb flour

1/2 lb stale or fresh bread

1/2 lb butter

1 lb sugar

1/2 lb raisins

1/2 lb sultanas

1/4 lb ginger preserve

1/4 lb candied peel

1/4 lb cadju nuts

6 eggs

A wine glass each of Brandy, sherry and rose water

1/2 nutmeg (grated)

1/2 teaspoon each of powdered cardamoms and cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon powder cloves

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 lb cherries

Method

Chop fruits and soak in brandy, sherry and rose water.Cream butter, sugar and eggs add bread crumbs, soaked fruits, sultanas, powdered cinnamon, cardamons,cloves, grated nutmeg, mix well add salt. Pour in to a buttered dish and bake in micro wave oven
