Cinnamon Raisin Bread

Ingredients
- 3 Packets of Active Dry yeast
- 1 ½ Cups warm milk
- 1 teaspoon Sugar
- ½ Cup warm water
- 2/3 Cup sugar
- ½ Cup Butter or margarine softened
- 3 teaspoons Salt
- 6 to 7 Cups Flour
- 2 Cups Raisins
- 2 Cups mixed Cinnamon and Sugar
Method

In a small bowl combine your yeast, warm water, and stir till yeast is dissolved . Then stir in 1 teaspoon sugar and let it stand for 5 to 8 minutes or until foamy .

In a larger bowl mix together warm milk, sugar, salt and butter .

Stir in your yeast mixture slowly making sure it is mixed thoroughly .

Then add 2 Cups of flour mix well .

By hand add another 4 Cups of flour 1 cup at a time. Until a still dough is formed. If dough is still tacky add your remaining flour and knead until dough is smooth and stretchy ( approximately takes 5 to 8 minutes .

Place dough in a lightly oil bowl. Cover with plastic wrap and a towel let rise for 2 hours

Punch down dough and divide in half .

Roll out halves with a rolling pin

In 1 half add 1 cup of raisins and a ½ cup of the Cinnamon sugar mixture . Repeat with 2nd half of dough,

Fold over several times then form in to loaf and roll in to rest of cinnamon sugar mixture . Place in a greased loaf pan and cover again for 1 hour and let rise

Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes
