Confetti Nut Bread

1 egg
1 cup sugar
1/3 cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons salad oil
2 1/2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon soda
1 cup water
1 cup chopped mixed candied fruit
1 cup chopped nuts
Dredge fruit and nuts in 1/4 cup flour; add all other ingredients. Pour into greased loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 60 minutes. Cool and freeze. Sliced better after its frozen and thawed.
