Doughnut Muffins

Noni’s (my great grandma) doughnut muffin recipe. This is a delightful breakfast muffin that really should be a dessert muffin.

Doughnut MuffinsGift from: Noni (altered by Mom)

2 dozen 350 degrees 20-30 mins

2/3 cup butter
2 cup sugar (divided)
2 eggs
2 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup milk (or 1 1/2 cup sour cream)
3 cup flour
3 teaspoon baking powder
Cinnamon & Sugar mixture
1/3 cup melted butter

Cream butter, sugar, eggs. Sift in dry ingredients and add alternately with milk/vanilla mixture.

Fill greased muffin tin 2/3 full. Bake.

Remove at once from pan and dip in melted butter. Then dip in Cinnamon & Sugar mixture.
