Easy Peazy Cheese Scones!
Cheese scones that are so easy to make, with no fuss and less mess!
These scones are so quick and easy to make you can rustle them up while your mother-in-law is looking at the garden!
INGREDIENTS
150g of self raising flour
50g of margarine
75g of grated cheese
Salt, pepper, mustard
I x free range egg
2 x table spoons of milk
METHOD
1. Rub fat into flour (I just chop it in with a knife, saves you having to keep washing your hands) add cheese and seasoning
2. Mix in the egg and milk until it resembles a stiff mixture
3. Place the mixture on to a floured surface and make a big ball, then flatten it down a little, to about 1/2 inch thick.
4.Cut into triangles (like you would a pizza)
5. Place on a greased baking tray and pop it in the oven for 10/15 minutes on gas mark7/8 or 425-450f
Thats it, very easy and quick and they taste delicious. I always do double the ingredients, get double the scones and put half in the freezer, you must put them in the freezer as soon as they are cool or you will eat them!

Thank heavens I’ve finally found a quick and simple recipe! My mum used to make wonderful cheese scones but through the mists of time the magic mix recipe has disappeared! Now I have a new one which sounds equally as simple as my mum’s!!!

I’ve never had a scone, but I’ve always wanted to try one.
Now, Shepherd’s Pie–that is something I love a lot.
