Easy Sausage Gravy Monkey Bread
A new twist on the traditional caramel monkey bread.
Ingredients:
2 packages butttermilk biscuits (10 rolls per package)
1 can or one package biscuit gravy (follow package instructions), approximately 2 cups
4 sausage patties (Jimmy Dean or your favorite) cooked and diced, or half pound ground sausage cooked
Optional: 6 eggs wisked together
Method
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Cut each biscuit into quarters.
- Mix sausage and gravy together
- Spray bunt pan with cooking spray.
- Pour one quarter of the gravy mixture into bunt pan.
- Place a layer of cut biscuits on top of gravy mixture (approximately one third of biscuits).
- Pour one third of optional egg mixture on top of biscuits.
- Repeat steps 5, 6 (and optionally step 7) two more times.
- Pour remaining gravy on top.
- Bake at 350 degrees F, for 30 minutes.
- Remove monkey bread from oven and let set for 5 minutes.
- Place a plate on top of bunt pan and flip over to release monkey bread from bunt pan.
- Serve immediately, serves 4-6.
