Easy Sausage Gravy Monkey Bread

A new twist on the traditional caramel monkey bread.

Ingredients:

2 packages butttermilk biscuits (10 rolls per package)

1 can or one package biscuit gravy (follow package instructions), approximately 2 cups

4 sausage patties (Jimmy Dean or your favorite) cooked and diced, or half pound ground sausage cooked

Optional:  6 eggs wisked together

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. 
  2. Cut each biscuit into quarters.
  3. Mix sausage and gravy together
  4. Spray bunt pan with cooking spray.
  5. Pour one quarter of the gravy mixture into bunt pan.
  6. Place a layer of cut biscuits on top of gravy mixture (approximately one third of biscuits).
  7. Pour one third of optional egg mixture on top of biscuits.
  8. Repeat steps 5, 6 (and optionally step 7) two more times.
  9. Pour remaining gravy on top.
  10. Bake at 350 degrees F, for 30 minutes.
  11. Remove monkey bread from oven and let set for 5 minutes.
  12. Place a plate on top of bunt pan and flip over to release monkey bread from bunt pan.
  13. Serve immediately, serves 4-6.
