Eggless Cake – Recipe

We know that eggs are needed to prepare the cake. But it is very interesting to know that the cake can also be prepared without eggs. Here is the recipe of eggless cake.

Ingredients of Eggless Cake:

1 to 1½ cups of Brown Sugar

2 cups of Hot Water

½ cup of Raisins

½ cup of chopped Cashew Nuts

1 to 1½ teaspoons of Nutmeg Powder, Cinnamon and Cardamom

1 teaspoon of Salt

½ cup of Orange Rind

3 cups of Maida (Flour)

1 teaspoon of Baking Powder

4 tablespoons of Margarine

¾th teaspoon of Ginger Paste

1 teaspoon of Baking Soda  

How to prepare Eggless Cake:

At first, sieve the maida (flour) with baking powder and soda for three times.

Boil the mixture of other ingredients for 5 minutes.

Let the mixture be cooled.

Now continue to stir and mix by adding the maida (flour) bit by bit.

Continue to mix it well to make the paste clear.

Heat up the oven and place the mixture in a lubricated tin.

Bake it for 1 hour under the temperature of 180˚C.

Eggless cake is ready. Enjoy it.
