Grandma M’s.. Yummy Cream Bread

Running out of recipe ideas for the next dinner party or family gathering? How about the next birthday party for your kids? Try this scrumptious, filling, and economical treat…they’ll sing for more!

Ingredients:

1 loaf of French bread

2 to 3 pounds of Ground beef

1 can (16 oz.) Evaporated milk

1 (8 oz. bag) of shredded Cheddar cheese (or shredded cheese of your choice)

Directions/Preparations:

Take Ground beef,  put into large bowl, (any type will do) with thoroughly sanitized hands, mix in 1 can of Evaporated milk, until Ground beef becomes sticky and absorbs all the milk.

Slice French bread, (long way) to make 2 halves. With spatula, spread ground beef (1/4 inch thickness) on bread, put both halves on non- greased cookie sheet, bake at 350 degrees until  Ground beef is thoroughly cooked and brown. Pull from oven, top with cheese, put in oven for 2 -3 minutes. Pull from oven- let cool down before serving.

Enjoy!! Don’t eat too much:)
