Healthy Rye Bread Recipe
Some claim that rye bread is even healthier than whole grain bread; good thing for you because you now have a recipe to make this delicious and healthy bread!
Healthy Rye Bread Recipe

Ingredients:
-2 cups boiling water
-1 1/2 cups rye flour
-1/2 cup cornmeal
-1/3 cup brown sugar
-1/3 cup molasses
-1 tbsp salt
-1/3 cup butter
-1 tbsp anise seed
-2 packages of dry yeast
-1/2 cup warm water
-1 tsp sugar
-4-5 cups flour
Directions:
Pour the boiling water over the rye flour, cornmeal, brown sugar, molasses, salt, butter and anise seed in a bowl; let it cool just a tad. Dissolve in the yeast in warm water and sugar. Add to the other mixture. Mix in the flour and knead for about 10 minutes, letting it rise afterwards. Form this dough into three round loaves and let rise again. Stab a few or more times with a fork before baking at 350 F for 30 minutes. Enjoy it while it is still warm!
