A lot of people store their lettuce in a plastic bag. If you want to keep it from going bad put a piece of bread in the bag. Putting the bread in the bag keeps the lettuce from going bad because it absorbs the moisture.

When you eat on the table on your deck or patio, be sure not to spill sugary things, like soft drinks or juices, on the table. If you do, you are giving invitations to ants and other bugs to come to dinner! So, after each meal spray white vinegar and the acetic acid will mask the smell of sugar.

When you want a nice smell in your kitchen, don’t buy products with chemicals. Layer 2 lemons cut in slices, on a cookie sheet lined with foil. Preheat oven to 225F and bake them 75 minutes. Turn heat off and open door and let the delicious scent make your kitchen smell divine.

Do animals come around your trash cans? Do they make a mess? A good solution would be to put some Epsom salts around the cans as animals do not like the taste and it won’t hurt them.
