Honey Bread

Great bread to eat during dinner.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups of white flour
  • 1 teaspoon of baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon of baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • ½ teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon of ginger
  • ½ cup of honey
  • 1 egg, slightly beaten
  • 1 cup of milk

Method:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Butter a loaf pan.
  3. Put the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon and ginger in a large bowl. Add the honey, egg, and milk, and beat thoroughly with an electric beater for about 20 minutes.
  4. Spoon into the pan and bake for about 50 minutes.
  5. Remove from the pan and cool on a rack (One loaf).
