How to Make Fried Bread

This is a great tea time snack and every one will love it.

Ingredients

  • Bread – 1 loaf
  • Red chilli powder – 1 tsp
  • Gram flour – 4 tbl.sp
  • Turmeric – a pinch of
  • Salt as per taste
  • Rice powder – 1 tbl.sp
  • Tymol seeds/ ajwain – 1 tsp
  • Oil for frying

Method

Cut bread pieces into triangle shape. In one bowl, take gram flour add to it red chilli powder, turmeric, salt, tymol seeds, rice powder and enough water to make a paste. Take a deep frying pan, add oil to it for frying. When heated, dip this pieces of bread in the gram flour paste and fry till golden brown and crisp. Serve hot with ketchup.
