Milk Cake (Eggless) Recipe
MILK CAKE (Eggless) RECIPE.
Ingredients
Yields approx. 1 Kg.)
250 gms. Unsalted Butter
400 gms. Condensed Milk
6 tsp. Sugar (Confectioners sugar)
400 gms. Plain flour (Maida)
1 cup Milk
1 tsp. Vanilla Essence
1 tsp. Soda –bi -carbonate
2 tsp. Baking powder
As required Coconut powder (optional)
As required Dried Fruits (optional)
Method :
Pre heat the oven at 160 degree Celsius.
Cream the butter in a big bowl, with the help of an electric beater or mixer.
Add condensed milk and sifted sugar to the butter and mix well.
Add essence, soda-bi-carbonate and baking powder. Mix all these ingredients well.
Alternately add sifted Maida and milk to the mixture.
Lastly add coconut powder and dry fruits. Mix well.
Grease the base of the cake tin or line it with non stick baking (butter) paper.
Bake for about 40 to 45 minutes.
Insert a skewer or knife in the cake to see if done. The knife should come out clean.
