Peas Kebabs

Simply delicious!

PEAS KEBAB            (For 8 – 10 people)

 

Ingredients:

 

  • Boiled peas                              2 cups.
  • Bread slices                              4, soaked in water.
  • Coriander leaves                       chopped.
  • Green chilies                             1 Tsp, chopped.
  • Coriander powder                    ½ Tsp.
  • Cumin powder                          ½ Tsp.(Jeera)
  • Ginger                                      2 Tsp, grated.
  • Garlic juice                               2 Tsp.
  • Dried mango powder                ½ Tsp, (Amchur)
  • Carom seeds                            ½ Tsp, (Ajwain)
  • Salt & pepper                           to taste.
  • Bread crumbs                           as required.

 

Method:

  1. Combine all the ingredients except bread slices and bread crumbs and blend them in the liquidizer (mixie).
  2. Take out the batter and add the bread slices and mix well the batter till it becomes a smooth paste.
  3. Now make small kebabs.
  4. Dip each kebab in the cornflour paste, cover it with bread crumbs and then deep fry them

 

Note: Cornflour paste – 2 Tbsp cornflour, with 3 Dessert spoon water.

TIP: If you want you can add ½ cup paneer/cottage cheese to the batter as well.
