Pita Bread

Hot to prepare Pita Bread.

Ingredients

· 325 g flour

· 20 g pressed yeast

· 3/4 cup warm water

· 1/2 teaspoon sugar

· Salt

In a little warm water, not hot, dissolve yeast, sugar and a teaspoon of salt. On the marble of the kitchen we do a lot with the meal, we open a hole in the center and mix this solution by adding a little warm water.

We worked the crowd, trying to always have their hands covered in flour so that we are not sticking. Next, we ball and give a cut, wrap it with clean kitchen towel and let rest about 1 hour until double in volume.

Then turn on the oven to 200 º for ten minutes before baking. Meanwhile, knead again with energy and we’re making small balls. Then stretch these balls to make tortillas, about 30 cm in diameter. The we put in a baking tray, greased and floured.

We let it bake about 10-12 minutes. After removing the pita bread from the oven, we can keep warm and tender storage between clean cloths.
