Raisin Bran Muffins

SOAK:
1 cup 100% bran flakes in 1 cup boiling wter
Mix together:
1 1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup salad oil
2 eggs
2 cups buttermilk
Sift together and add to above:
2 1/2 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 1/2 teaspoons soda
soaked bran
2 cups all bran cereal
1/2 pound raisins
Bake at 400* 15 to 20 minutes in muffin tin with paper lines. Batter will keep 3 weeks in refrigerator. Makes about 4 dozen.
