Schnetke (German Recipe)

 1 cup butter or nucoa (ice cold)

1/2 cups milk–1/2 cup water (ice cold)

2 teaspoons salt

1 heaping teaspoon baking powder

3 cups flour (leave a little for rolling)

Mix well with hands. Lap over and over. Roll about 1/2 inch thick and lap over and roll about 6 times. Spread butter between last layer, then cup in strips 1 /2 inches wide and 3 inches long. Bake in 450 degree oven for 15 minutes.
