A great recipe for cheesy snacking bread.

Snacking Cheese Bread

1 pkg dry yeast
¼ cup warm water
2 tbs sugar
¾ cup warm milk
2 tbs salad oil
1 tsp salt
2 ¼ cup flour
Topping:
2 eggs, beaten
7 tbs milk
¾ tbs grated onion or onion powder (not salt!)
½ lbs grated sharp cheese

Instructions:

1. Dissolve the yeast in water with 1 tbs sugar
2. Combine with warm milk, salad oil, salt, remaining sugar and flour.
3. Mix well, knead a few times and let rise until dough has doubled in size.
4. Mix dry topping ingredients in a separate bowl.
5 Punch down and spread on a greased cookie sheet, 10×15 with sides.
6. Brush the dough with beaten eggs.
7. Spread dry topping mix on the dough.
8. Let the dough rise for a little, then bake in a 350 degree oven for about 20 minutes. Until the crust is brown and the cheese is melted.
