Yummy Double Chocolate Chip Muffins

A great tasty and easy to make recipe for double chocolate chip muffins.

This is a very easy recipe to make it takes less than 10 minutes to make then you have to wait 20 minutes for them to cook and then you can eat them. It is a great snack for afternoon tea or even in your kids lunches.

First of all turn the oven onto 190 degree’s celsius.By the time you have the muffins already to go into the oven, the oven should be the right temperature. Also if you don’t have a non stick muffin try grease up your muffin tray’s with some butter. This mixture will make 12 muffins.

Firstly you need to get a bowl and add one and a half cups of flour, add half a cup of sugar, one quarter teaspoon of salt, three teaspoons of baking powder, two tablespoons of coca(I find its best to sieve the coca so its not all lumpy.) and lastly one cup of chocolate chips. Now mix all these ingredients together and put aside.

Now for the wet ingredients, melt one third of a cup of butter in the microwave, mix with a egg and add a cup of milk.

Make a hole in the middle of the dry ingredients and gently pour the wet ingredients into it then fold the mixture together until they are completely mixed in. Do not over mix the ingredients.

Next pour the mixture into the muffin tray making sure you evenly spread the mixture.

Lastly put the muffins in the oven for 20 minutes, if they aren’t ready after 20 minutes put them in for another 5 minutes. Now you can enjoy your muffins. I would suggest you eat them while they are hot because thats when they are best or you save them. You can store them in the freezer for latter use.

Hope you enjoy.Thanks
