Banana Split Waffles

A healthy breakfast recipe for everyone.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup of low- fat butter
  • 1 and 3/4 cup of  semi -skimmed milk
  • 2 separated eggs
  • 1/4 cup of brown sugar
  • 2 cups of rising flour
  • 2 mashed bananas
  • 1/2 cup of nuts
  • 1/2 cup of grated biscuit
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla or cocoa powder

Method

  1. Separate eggs.
  2. Whip egg whites until stiff and then put aside.
  3. Mix butter, milk, egg yokes, brown sugar, vanilla (or cocoa powder) and flour. (Add flour according to thickness desired.)
  4. Fold in egg whites. Add mashed bananas, nuts and grated biscuit.
  5. Pour into hot, greased  waffle iron. Cook until  it gets golden brown. Garnish as desired.
  6. Serve with a nice hot cup of coffee or tea.
