Buttermilk Buckwheat Pancakes

This is another recipe that’s been in my family for generations. Delicious Pancakes.

Dry Ingredients

1 ½ C Whole Wheat Flour

½ C White Flour

1 t Salt

2 T Cornmeal

1 T Wheat Germ (Optional)

2 T Sugar

1 t Baking Soda

¾ t Baking Powder

Wet Ingredients

2 ¼ C Buttermilk

2 Eggs

1 T Molasses

1 T Oil

Directions

Add Wet ingredients to Dry ingredients and mix.

Cooking Directions

Fry in greased skillet at 380 o

Serving suggestions

These are best served with homemade vanilla syrup.
