Egg Sarciado

Egg Sarciado Recipe is a budget saver and an Excellent source of Vitamin C helps fight common infections.

Ingredients

  • 7 pcs eggs
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1 pc small onion, chopped
  • 1 pouch (115 g) DEL MONTE Filipino Style Tomato Sauce
  • 1-1/2 cups water
  • 1/2 pc chicken bouillon cube
  • 100 grams potatoes, sliced
  • 1/4 cup cooked/frozen green peas
  • 1 pc small red bell pepper, cut into cube

Method

  • COOK 6 pieces eggs until hard boiled. Cut each egg lengthwise into two.

  • Beat remaining egg. Set aside.

  • SAUTÉ garlic and onion in oil. Add chicken cube, DEL MONTE Tomato Sauce, water and potatoes.

  • Season with 1 tsp soy sauce, 1/4 tsp iodized fine salt (or ¾ tsp iodized rock salt) and 1/8 tsp pepper.

  • Simmer for 10 minutes.

  • ADD green peas, bell peppers and beaten eggs.

  • Simmer while stirring for 2 minutes, or until cooked. Add boiled eggs.
