Homemade Hash Browns

The best homemade hash browns.
Ingredients
- 4 large potatoes
- 1 small red onion or (any of your favorite onions)
- Bacon amount depending on what you like
- Bacon fat from cooking of the bacon
Method
- Skin potatoes
- dice onions into small cubes
- cook bacon however you prefer
- lightly pour bacon fat into frying pan
- take a hand full of grated potatoes and mix with the amount of bacon and onions you want in a metal bowl
- heat pan
- add 1/2 teaspoon of paprika to the potato mixture
- add salt and pepper
- place mixture into frying pan assuring the thickness is the same throughout
- cook until sides are brown, about 5 minutes
- turn and repeat
- enjoy the hash browns
