Instant Cinnamon Swirl Pancakes

Gourmet style pancakes in a fraction of the time! Your family will love the “homemade” taste from this instant recipe.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of your favorite instant pancake mix (substitute water for milk)
  • 2 tbsp. of ground cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp Vanilla Flavoring
  • Dash of Nutmeg 

                                                                                                                                           

Method

  1. Pour all the dry ingredients into a large bowl
  2. Whisk in the milk and vanilla flavoring. Blend well enough to bring it all together; do not try whisking all the lumps out
  3. Heat an electric griddle or frying pan to 350 degrees F. Check to see if the griddle is hot by placing a few drops of water on it, if it “jumps” around the pan it’s ready
  4. Lightly grease the griddle or frying pan, make sure it is evenly coated
  5. Gently ladle your batter onto your frying pan. When the cake bubbles around the edges and the pan side is golden brown, flip over. Continue cooking until other side is golden brown.
  6. Serve immediately with your favorite syrup and a sprinkle of brown sugar (optional). Enjoy!
